Hello, my name is Howard K. Venable, Founder and President of Silver Lining Youth Services, Inc. and key organizer of the PromenadeAdult Prom. On behalf of each member of the planning committee, thank you. Thank you for supporting the efforts of Silver Lining Youth Services, Inc. Your participation in our event provided the needed support as SLYS plots a roadmap to serve the families of Forsyth County, NC.
A special thanks to the Center for the Study of Economic Mobility on the campus of Winston-Salem State University as our key sponsor providing financial support to propel this project. Thank you to Virtue Web Design for their support as key marketing and media guidance. Additional thanks to Dr. Tony L. Burton, III and owners of “My Lil Genius’” for sponsoring our event to make it a success. A special thank you to the staff of the Village Inn Event Center for allowing us to host our event and offering its catering expertise to best serve our guest.

As SLYS focuses on its mission, we look to empowering the youth and strengthening families change lives one student at a time. This project began as an act of passion and love; my passion to making a difference in the lives of others and the love for my daughter. Its goal was to offer an event which allowed participants to rekindle memories of high school with family and friends.

Reflecting on the Promenade’s outcome, we look to capture key marketing strategies to improve sponsorship and attendance. We plan to addressed important topics that are worth knowing before you get started and outlined steps for planning our event for April 18th 2020.

In closing, Congratulation to Sheriff Bobby Kimbrough, Jr. as recipient of the Silver Lining Youth Services Milestone Achievement Award. Keeping with the tradition, future recipients will be a shining example for students to model!
